The normally peaceful little square a stones throw from Paddington station was last night transformed into a fairytale venue, a [to die for line up] of the most famous bands to emerge from the now very distant summer of love. Sleepy Norfolk Square rocked to the beat of such greats as The Rolling Stones and Fleetwood Mac albeit in the guise of some very good cover bands and as if in celebration of our longest summer for years, the audience with closed eyes, a glass or two of wine and a little imagination (well a lot of imagination) could even think them the real thing.
But for me the stars of the show was the troop of beautiful stilted ladies who stood for hours greeting the public and never once did their smiles slip from their well glossed lips although in reality they must have been in pure agony, respect ladies.
Thanks to This is Paddington for this free concert and family fun day
